Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to study the performance improvement of hybid solar system (HyPV) with heater for storing extra solar PV power. We replaced storing electricity with heat and analyzed the economic effect result of charging current limitation on different batteries. A long term system performance simulative program was developed to study the design of HyPV-h and compared with real situation to check if it was right or not. We also used the simulative program to analyze different switching control method, charging current limitation on battery and study HyPV-h optimum with different specifications of solar PV boards, batteries and heaters in different regions and situations. Finally, studying the heating performance of smart control system with “one” heater and test results.
