Abstract
This paper aims to make suggestions for the developments of the unified financial supervision in our country. By examining structural developments and financial environments relating to unified financial services supervision in UK, Japan, and Korea as well as the regulatory legal framework and supervisory process in the US, Japan and UK, several conclusions are reached：
1. Financial Supervisory Commission should be the sole authority in charge of financial policy making and supervision.
2. The organizational structure of Financial Supervisory Commission could adopt the functional regulatory process in UK. Also, lead supervision and group supervision of FSA in UK are recommended to regulate our financial holding companies.
3. As financial groups are emerging in our country, it’s necessary and urgent to construct healthy industrial environments such as fire wall enhancement, risk management, transparency, and self-regulation.
4. Consumer protection and investor protection should be strengthened by upgrading our financial regulating system.
