Abstract
In this thesis, basic theories of superconductivity are applied estimating the characteristics of high-temperature superconductor(HTS) components such as attenuation and Q factor. The properties of parallel-plate waveguide(PPWG) made of YBCO thin film and aluminum, rectilinear cacities made of YBCO thick film and copper are analyzed.
The frequency-dependence of electron density is proposed to obtain reasonable attenuation of YBCO PPWG especially when the operating frequency is near critical frequency.
