Abstract
Tarsal tunnel syndrome is defined as a compressive neuropathy of posterior tibial nerve and its branches, medial and lateral plantar nerves, within the tarsal tunnel, which is located in the limited space behind medial malleolus. Giant cell tumor of the tendon sheath occurs most often in the hand. Pedal involvement is usually at the dorsal and lateral aspects of the foot. We present an unusual medial localization of giant cell tumor of the tendon sheath in the foot, causing tarsal tunnel syndrome. ? 2011.
