Abstract
本研究使用示差掃描熱分析儀(Differential Scanning Calorimetry, DSC)量測三組二成份混合物之固液相平衡,其分別為:2-methylbenzoic acid (1) + 3-methylbezoic acid (2)、2-methoxybenzoic acid (1) + 3-methylbenzoic acid (2)、N-phenylacetamide (1) + benzamide (2)。兼具準確性與時間上的考量,DSC 之升溫速度為1 K/min,實驗結果發現此三組固液相圖皆為簡單共熔型。
DSC之實驗結果以Wilson模式作迴歸計算,結果良好。利用Gray熱分析之數學模式將DSC熱流曲線轉換得各莫耳組成下之相轉化曲線,便可直接的決定出共熔點轉化率。本研究以共熔點轉化比例法,簡單而準確的確認共熔點組成。
本研究提供三組可靠與準確之固液相平衡數據,作為日後在結晶分離程序與UNIFAC官能基團參數迴歸之參考。
Solid-liquid equilibria (SLE) for the three following binary systems have been measured by the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC): 2-methylbenzoic acid + 3-methylbenzoic acid, 2-methoxybenzoic acid + 3-methylbenzoic acid, N-phenylacetamide + benzamide. Each of these systems appears to be a simple eutectic system. The SLE measurements of the organic components in this study are helpful for fitting reliable temperature-dependent parameters by group contribution methods such as modified UNIFAC model.
The activity coefficient model is found to accurately represent the nonideality of the liquid-phase in the investigated systems. The Wilson model is employed to correlate the solid-liquid equilibrium data. It is demonstrated that the SLE phase boundaries are correlated well with the experimental results. The heat generation rate and fraction of transformation were calculated using the Gray’s model. Applying the fractional transformation method, the eutectic points were also easily determined.
