Abstract
Micromixing models usually assume an identical mixing time for all species involved in reactions. The mixing times are, however, dependent upon the molecular diffusivities of reactive species, which in general are different for each species. We discussed in this study the effects of variable mixing times on the Oregonator model in an incompletely micromixed stirred tank. A three-dimensional bifurcation diagram is constructed on the basis of numerical simulations. Non-identical mixing times of different species provide extra bifurcation parameters of system dynamics of Oregonator model.
