Abstract
A method of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) gold wire inspection is proposed in this thesis. We inspect the gold wire intersection on PCB and the wire sweep. In this thesis, we use closing operation in mathematical morphology, to deal with the X-ray image, and calculate the difference between result and original image. After applying thresholding to it, we can get the printed circuit board golden wire image. Finally, we track the image with A* search algorithm to get the golden wire information.
