Abstract
In this thesis, we propose a subscriber station physical layer transceiver architecture for 3GPP LTE. Algorithms for symbol boundary detection, carrier frequency offset and sampling clock offset detection and compensation, cell search, channel estimation, tracking loop, MIMO detection as well as codebook selection and turbo decoding are embedded in this receiver.
We propose a method to joint detect integer carrier frequency offset and group identity. Besides, we propose a method to detect sector identity. The proposed sector identity detection algorithm not only achieves excellent detection performance but also requires the lowest complexity. In the thesis, several simulations and performances are presented and discussed in the final.
