Abstract
The design and manufacturing are
among the most important steps for the
application of HPC. They rely on a
comprehensive understanding of the
properties of HPC as fresh concrete.
This study includes some critical
investigations on HPC in the status of
fresh concrete, including the
rheological behavior, the mold pressure,
the influence of pozzolanic materials,
the construction technology, and the
autogenous shrinkage of HPC. These
issues on HPC are interrelated. A
cohesive integration among different
investigators is necessary. The success
of this study shall provide essential
information for design and construction
of structures using HPC.
There 5 individual projects involved in
this integrated project. The coordination
and integration of investigation results
is important toward the success of this
main topic.
