Abstract
This study use phototaxis of white shrimp which attracts shrimp without moltingand reduces them to attack shrimp in molting, so that we can design aculture environment following the habitats of white shrimp to reduce cannibalism of shrimp, and indirectly improve shrimp survival. In this study , we use four color light which blue (442nm), green (525nm), yellow (590nm) and red (639nm) light, three illuminance which 100lux、500lux、1000lux, and four stocking density which 50、100、200、400 pieces / m² to conduct phototaxis experiment of white shrimp. Four kinds of light sources sets in corner of the aquarium with water temperature 25℃ and seawatwr environment, and bottom of the aquarium sets a black mask to reduce the various light source of interference ,and use high-speed camera to record the behavior of juvenile shrimp within 20 minutes, calculated each 2 minutes data and the area of each of illumination light source and juvenile shrimp packing density. The results show that juvenile white shrimp favorite gathered in illuminance range of light over 10 lux environment, and juvenile white shrimp favorite color light is red light, and density of white shrimp don’t influence result of the red light. And the results show that state is not very crowded, and show that the bottom of the easiness of activities will result in differences in phototaxis of white shrimp. These results can be used an experiment to design at outdoor ponds, and to reduce the current experimental evidence of shelling shrimp injury.
