Abstract
This paper describes a new transportation solution. The solution was created to solve recent and future transportation problem by a new design method, which contains a four-level-design process: society design, service design, vehicle design, and introduction strategy. The process carries out a new vehicle and a new business model. The business model is designed to change the current automotive business model, which would highly improve the material use and energy efficiency of passenger transit by changing the relationship and the connections between each character involved in the business model. IPLEV, or intelligent personal lightweight electric vehicle, is the vehicle introduced by this transportation system. It is a 3-wheel personal vehicle which has 4 modes: driving, riding, pedestrian, and folded mode. By transforming between former 3 modes, the vehicle can be used in different places and different gestures for the driver. The folded mold is designed to combine with other mass transit systems like MRT, bus, and high speed railway...etc. By combining the IPLEV and mass transit system, we achieve our goal of door-to-door personal transportation-The intrinsic need of human transportation. © EVS-25 Shenzhen, China.
