Abstract
This paper parports to illustrate the critical process of Sino-Japan Negotiation of withdrawing their troops from Korea in 1894. The issues much concerned are given as follows. First, why and how China urge Japan to withdraw from Korea? Second, how did the great powers conciliate this dispute? Third, why did the negotiation fail eventually? Fourth, why did the Chinese dominance in Korea collapse at last?
