Abstract
The subject of this project is a
fundamental and ultimate issue of the studies
of ethics-Why should be moral? It's not a
concern for the ethicists only; everyone may
come across this question sometime in life.
However, ethicists hold different views on
problems such as the legitimacy of the
question, the way how the question should be
put, the meanings of the question, and what
different answers should be given
accordingly. The main purpose of this project
is to collect and analyze major theories on
this subject, and furthermore, to present a
more comprehensive and integrated point of view.
