Abstract
The application of GTAP model and its database is getting more and more popular recently. It was often used by many countries and international institutes to analyze quantification economic issues. It is very important to understand the application of this model and update the content of the database. The more we understand and use this model, the more we can apply it, improve it and get the model better. The aim of this paper is to introduce the update and application of the latest GTAP 7 Database. We elaborate the issue on the setting and estimation of agricultural domestic support includes how 10 deal with the government's protection or subsidy in the model. We also interpret the how to incorporate the OECD's PSEs indicators into GTAP 7 Data Base. Then we give an example to demonstrate the application on Agricultural domestic support issue. We hope this paper could provide helpful information about GTAP with the calculation of its database, also help readers 10 understand this model and use them well.
