Abstract
Based on the general theory of nonlocal elasticity, the stresses of a screw dislocation near an inclusion are analyzed. The analyses are made for both cases: without eigenstrains and with eigenstrains in an inclusion. With the result obtained we find the nonlocal surface residual on the interface between the inclusion and the matrix due to the interaction of the dislocation and the inclusion. All classical singularities in stresses are eliminated. A maximum and a minimum of the shear stress are estimated in the dislocation core and near the inclusion.
