Abstract
In this study, the block kriging, which can
capture both spatial and time variability of
rainfall, is adopted to estimate the average areal
rainfall. The tank model is selected as the
rainfall-runoff model for the Wu-creek
Watershed. The multiple-objective genetic
algorithm (MOGA) is used to optimize the
parameters of the tank model. The parameters
of the tank model are obtained after the
optimization process. These parameters can
represent the characteristics of the rain-runoff
process in the Wu-creek Watershed. In
addition, the methodology developed herein
can be applied to next year’s project.
