Abstract
Seven polymorphic microsatellite loci are described for the harvest mouse, Micromys minutus in Taiwan. For a panel of 38 individuals with unknown relationship, the numbers of alleles per locus ranged from 3 to 17. The observed and expected heterozygosities averaged 0.433 and 0.656, respectively. These seven markers should offer potentials to investigate the harvest mouse population genetic structure.
