Abstract
Regularly-patterned, multi-section GaN nanorod arrays with sidewall non-polar quantum wells are grown with the pulsed-growth technique to show much broader emission spectra. The discovered Ga-rich line-markers and the theoretical/numerical studies illustrate the growth mechanisms of such a multi-section nanorod structure.
