Abstract
By employment of l, l, l-tris(hydroxymethyl)ethane as the starting material, syntheses of two novel tripod-like terdentates with mixed donor properties, 2, 2-Bis(diphenylphosphinomethyl)-l-methoxy-propane (P20) and 2, 2-Bis(diphenylphosphinomethyl)-l-methoxypropane (S20) are reported.
