Abstract
本論文以解析及數值方法探討層狀週期結構上的表面電漿子行為。在解析方面本文由最簡單的無窮半平面逐步推廣到有限厚度金屬薄板，最後得到層狀週期結構之色散關係的推導。而在數值方法上，本文應用了Coupling Interface Method作方程式的離散，並以Interfacial Operator Approach將原問題轉換成標準線性特徵值問題。在數值結果上討論了四種不同介電質空氣、四氯化矽、二氧化矽、矽的色散關係及特徵模態。金屬的充填率是最主要的參數，討論其頻帶間隙及群速度等物理性質；在特徵模態上我們討論了對稱解與非對稱解與充填率的關係，並探討對稱模態起點與介電係數和充填率間的關係。鍵字：表面電漿子、耦合介面法、介面算子法、表面電漿子色散關係、表面電漿子頻帶間隙。
