Abstract
This study is to prepare the polystyrene/montmorillonite (PS-MMT) nanocomposites by using emulsion polymerization. And we discuss the structure of the composites.
We use the wide angle and middle angle XRD、TEM to understand the d-spacing and the structure of the composites.
We use TGA and DSC to understand the thermal properties of the composites.
Furthermore, we use SEM to understand the surface morphology of the composites.
The main factors of this study are the amount of styrene polymer and polymerization reaction time. We ca.n control one factor and change another one to understand the roles that this two factors played in the polymerization.
Finally, we prepare the polystyrene/polyaniline/montmorillonite composites and detect the resistence of the composites.
