Abstract
Indoor radio coverage of mobile communication is relatively sophisticate to assure the transmission quality. A simple reflectarray antenna fed by a dual-polarized antenna is designed to produce contoured patterns at the sub-6 GHz band for 5G applications. The synthesis of the reflectarray elements decreases the transition region to reduce handover rate with relatively optimized field distribution. The design concept is presented with numerical examples to validate the feasibility of the antenna design. ? 2021 Taiwan Microwave Association.
