Abstract
The plant of Garcinia multiflora ( Champ. ) distributed over mainland china and Taiwan South is a woody plants. The fruits could been anti-inflammation, anti-scald and anti-stomatitis in medical treatment.
The methanol extract from the leaves of Garcinia multiflora ( Champ. ) was concentrated to give a residue which was suspended in water and then partitioned with ethyl acetate. The ethyl acetate layer was separated by column chromatography on silica gel, preparative thin layer chromatography, and high performance liquid chromatography ( HPLC ) to give forty-five components. Among these components, eight are new, and one was isolated for the first time from natural sources. The total isolated components included three apocartenoids, thirteen aromatics, two chlorophyll, one lignoids, seven others, eight steroids, ten triterpenoids, and one xanthone.
By means of IR spectra, 1H-NMR spectra, 13C-NMR spectra and mass spectra, the known compounds were identified with those their physical data which reported in literatures or from authentic samples. The new compounds were elucidated by the using of spectral evidence including 1D and 2D techniques.
The total isolated components have forty-five from the leaves of Garcinia multiflora in my study, and are classified:
一. Apocartenoids ( Three )
二. Aromatics ( Thirteen )
三. Chlorophyll ( Two )
四. Lignoid ( One)
五. Others ( Seven )
六. Steroids ( Eight )
七. Triterpenoids ( Ten )
八. Xanthone ( One )
Among these components, eight are new, and one was isolated for the first time from natural sources.
