Abstract
ABSTRACT Let be a prime GPI-ring with extended centroid . We prove that if is a finite field, then there exist nonzero derivations of satisfying for all . This answers a problem posed by Bres˘ar, Chebotar, and S˘emrl (4). Moreover, we generalize their theorem to the case of generalized derivations with assumption on Lie ideals.
