Abstract
The Editors would like to alert the readers that concerns have been raised regarding some of the data presented in this article. Specifically: • The Fig. 1g LuT exo and Extended Data Fig. 2c PBS images appear to overlap. • Extended Data Fig. 6d: the bottom two images appear to overlap. The authors have checked the data and confirmed the overlaps. They also found that two images in Figs. 1g (BoT exo) and 6d (4175β4KD cells) were selected incorrectly and did not match the laboratory records. The corresponding original digital image files for the questioned H&E panels in Fig. 1g and Extended Data Fig. 6d were subsequently identified and verified against the laboratory records. Additionally, the authors stated that Extended Data Fig. 2c panel corresponding to LuT exosome treatment followed by 4175 LuT cell injection could not be verified against the original data records, but they have been able to verify the other images in this panel. Furthermore, in Fig. 3 (and in the rest of the manuscript), the length and sequence of the RGD peptide are not specified. The authors have confirmed that the sequence was GCGYGRGDSPG. Readers are advised to interpret the H&E staining data in this article with caution.
