Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of life style and hypertension among low-income families of the middle- and old- aged in Taipei. Three hundred residents consisting of males and females were chosen equally from An-Kang Community in Taipei by stratified and systematic sampling. A self-developed structured questionnaire was used to collect the needed information through home visits by the researcher herself. A total of 195 valid cases (65%) was completely collected and analyzed by SPSS-PC+. The findings suggested a 50.77% prevalence rate of hypertension in An-Kang Community. Among all variables, age, living condition, working situation, household income, body weight, drinking and smoking habits had significant influences toward the prevalence of hypertension. Generally speaking, this study has a few implications. ( 1) It shows how hypertension prevail among low income families. (2) It helps health professionals offer comprehensive and individualized by indentifying risk factors of hypertension in life style. (3) The results will certainly help the health department in planning a program of hypertension prevention. 入戶中老年人的生活型態與罹患高血壓的關係，以安康社區四十歲以上的低收入戶居 民為母群體，採分層系統抽樣方式，抽取男、女各150人為樣本。資料收集以自擬的 結構式問卷進行家庭訪視，計得有效樣本共195人，完成率為65%；所得資料以SPSS- PC+電腦程式進行統計分析。結果發現研究對象的高血壓盛行率達50.77%；而年齡、 居住型態、工作狀況、家戶別、體重狀況等個人基本資料，及飲酒者之酒齡長短、飲 酒量和抽菸者之每日抽菸支數等生活型態在高血壓盛行率呈現統計上之顯著差異。本 研究結果有助於醫護人員瞭解低收入戶中老年人生活型態中與高血壓有關的因素，可 作為健康專業人員提供低收入戶中老年人個別性、完整性照護之參考。研究所得的高 血壓盛行率亦可作為衛生行政單位擬定因地制宜之高血壓防治計劃的參考。# 2325#
