Abstract
With year 100 of the Republic of China, many people plan to get married. The modern young who immerse in the wedding show themselves with new style. The coming new style for wedding replaces the traditional way, which always focuses on the social intercourse between elders in the formal and serious atmosphere.
In order to show happiness for the bridegroom and bride, the wedding planners promote many new wedding programs, which pays more attention than before on the love story and makes it be a major selling point.
The report aims to underline the changes of wedding style within the different ages in society. Traditionally, wedding ceremony is a power for inheriting and contact with others. However, on now it turns to enjoy in romance instead of food only when people become richer and have higher quality life than before.
First, this report discusses the changes of wedding ceremony with the economical development in Taiwan that separated before and after 1980s. Then, after 2000, there are some reflection and experiences of wedding projects that collected from the wedding planners and companies. How the service goes on, and how they plan a touched wedding point out the changes of marketing. Finally, it concluded by a series of conversation between three women, present the different views of wedding value and ceremony between generations.
