Abstract
This thesis focuses on new positive displacement pump - claw rotor pump, tries to figure out what the performance of claw rotor pump caused by different factors is, and wants to make a complete expression of the relation with the performance of claw rotor pump and these factors: (1) change the gaps below by resetting different radius of claw rotors: leakage in the gap between the rotor and the housing wall, and the gap between the conjugated claw rotor pair; (2) control the frequency converter for different rotational speeds of rotor, and observe the flow rate, volume efficiency and pressure head of claw rotor pump; (3) connect with different horsepower motors; (4) change the outlet structure of claw rotor pump, and count the pressure drop in claw rotor pump; (5) compare the performance caused by steel rotors with plastic rotors; (6) compare the pump efficiency of claw rotor pump with multiple centrifugal deep water pump. According to the analysis of the experiment data above, this thesis shows the potential of claw rotor pumps and evaluates the performance of claw rotor pump depending on pump efficiency. Finally this thesis finds the best performance range of claw rotor pump in this special case, and moreover discusses what the physical significance it is within claw rotor. This is what this thesis expects to provide for the people in this field, the backgrounds of claw rotor pump, and furthermore expects to connect with Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction. Then this entire thesis can feedback the society, and benefit crowds.
