Abstract
31P−31P spin diffusion data show that the structure of rat dentin can be described as apatite crystallites embedded in amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP). The core of the apatite crystallites is assigned to hydroxyapatite (HAp), whereas the shell is assigned to OH-deficient apatite (HDAp).
