Abstract
GIS has become mobile on account of the development of wireless technology. Because of this shift, the applications of GIS have been extended. This new application that integrates GIS, GPS, wireless network and the conception of location-based service is called “Mobile GIS”. Building a “Wireless-Guiding System in Tourism-SuperTour” This system integrates mobile GIS, the spatial data of scenic resorts and the wireless networks. This system will enable people to enjoy location-based service anytime and anywhere in the future. In this case study, we have built a database including the spatial data of scenic resorts and designed a user interface by using dynamic maps. By the way the user will get the digital data and spatial data from the database through this user interface.
