Abstract
Quantum information science is emerging field and has attracted much attention recently. There are several proposals for constructing practical quantum computers. In this thesis we focus on the proposal of electron spin Quantum-Dot quantum computer. We implement and investigate the universal gate set operation i.e., the single qubit gate and CNOT gate operation, under the influence of external environment. The approach we use is the quantum master equation method for the open quantum system. In particular, we investigate the Non-Markovian and Markovian dynamics of the qubits and we also represent the result of numerical stimulation for gate operations. Finally, we use fidelity to quantify the influence of environment on quantum gate operations.
