With multimedia contents increasing rapidly in the life, we devised a web based, automatic management system with distributed UPnP content servers. This system scales up easily. Our web server is endowed with UPnP client capabilities and automatically searches the most recent contents of each UPnP server, as well as any newly added UPnP content servers. This system will ease the maintenance work of people, most of them are not well trained in IT fields.
