Abstract
mice prevented hyperuricemia-induced deleterious effects from influencing ADMA production, lipid peroxidation, inflammation, and atherosclerosis. Collectively, our findings suggest that hyperuricemia disturbs the balance of the ADMA/DDAH-2 axis, results in EC dysfunction, and, consequently, accelerates atherosclerosis.
