Abstract
Abstract
At present, the maintenance and monitoring of the large-scale structure are all dependent on electronic sensor. The electronic sensor is very complicated, and only point detecting to be examined . The main objective of this research is to study two kinds of optical fiber strain sensor. The two techniques are called “Fiber Bragg Gratings” and “Brillouin Optical Correlation Domain Analysis”. This thesis describe the mechanism of distribution measurement of fiber Brillouin spectrum by Brillouin Optical Correlation Domain Analysis (BOCDA) and multipoint detecting by Fiber Bragg Gratings(FBG).It is expected to be measured in experiments. These two methods have been successfully demonstrated experimentally. Finally, comparing with other kinds of optical fiber strain sensor “BOTDR and BOTDA” that are close to using on the engineering at present. We expect to bring the convenient and safety for human being.
