The result of the questionnaire data analysis showed that these volunteer interpreters are mostly elders, with high educational degree, and are earnestly participating and learning about environmental and interpretation affairs. There is a significant positive relation between interpretive performances and environmental literacy. Volunteer interpreters with related background, more interpretation experiences, more interpretive subjects, experiences of volunteer association cadre have significant better interpretive performances. The research suggests that the administrator should continue collecting visitors’ feedback, helping conducted activity preparation and offering training courses of environmental literacy and interpretive skill in order to improve the quality of interpretation service in the Yangmingshan National Park.
