Abstract
In this essay, the author organizes the recent theoretical development of Europeanization Study, and inducts a theoretical framework of it. Consequently, to portray the interactive policy-making process between a single member country and European Union, the essay will analyze the change of Swedish foreign policies and social welfare policies that demonstrates the Europeanization of Swedish policy.
The essay is composed of two parts. The first part will organize the recently developed Europeanization Study and then illustrate an analytical framework. In the second part, through analyzing the changes of EU joined Sweden’s foreign and social welfare policies, the essay will demonstrate the progress of Europeanization of Sweden, and evaluate the effect of “the EU policy paradigm” on Swedish policy.
