The aim of the thesis is to probe into the phonology of Southern Min in YungChing , Taiwan. This study depicts the representation of finals, consonants, and intonation in two aspects, both synchronically and diachronically. The description of phonology system today, includes initial, finals of a syllable and tone, and also provides the phonological distribution table and syllable structure constraint.In historicl phonology system. This text is by analysing to the lasting of southern Min of YungChing , change a comprehensive investigation discussion for the historicl phonology systemof the southern Min. The chapter 4 in thematic way discusses YungChing ''s special syllable: -eŋ/-ek, and we compare them with other Southern Min dialects.Through the comparison of the dialects of sisters, we put forward the inference about the sound change.
