Abstract
This main objective of this project is to
develop a novel all-organic electrochromic
device. From the electrochemical and
spectral analyses, the adding of acid into
electrolyte enhanced the cycling stability of
PANI. Also, PEDOT is a very good
electrochromic material for its high optical
attenuation (∆T), long term stability, and
high coloration efficiency. By combining the
two conducting polymer above, we have
demonstrated the application potential of this
device. Currently, the device PANI-PEDOT
has a reasonable electrochromic performance
and its maximum optical attenuation (∆T at
570 nm) is around 43%. The electrochromic
device also has good cycling stability.
