Abstract
This paper consists of fourteen items of commentary notes derived from the author's recent study of the Han Fei Zi. In each item, the author first sets forth the original Han Fei Zi passages in question, cites the rele-vant annotations from other scholars, and then proceeds to discuss the issues at hand. The paper makes use of recently unearthed texts and other archaeological evidence to support new interpretations, or to bolster and/or revise the existing interpretations rendered by other scholars.
