Abstract
This work proposed a method that using immunohistochemistry in the biological granules and flocs. We can see distributions of enzymes in these bioaggregates by Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope (CLSM). Combining with EPS staining method, we can know EPS and distributions of enzymes in biological granules and flocs. In this study, we found α-amylase distribution on the surface of bacteria. β-amylase can be found around the bacteria which storaged in the refrigerator. Tyrosinase can be found in the intracellular and extracellular region. The proposed scheme provides more detail about EPS and enzymes’ distributions in biological granules and flocs.
