Abstract
The aim of this work is two fold. First is to derive the equilibrium distribution function (EDF,Ef) for the relativistic Boltzmann equation in the absence of external field by the maximization of entropy and the principle of variation. The second purpose is to calculate the corresponding macroscopic quantities and to analyze numerically the governing equations in conservation law form by the kinetic flux vector splitting method.
