Abstract
The result of a joint signature is frequently used to evaluate whether the issuing matter should be decided further by a more formal decisive method like voting. Compared with the voting, the joint signature can be regarded as a less formal but simpler method to reflect the intention of people. In this paper, we propose a network-based pseudonymous joint signature scheme that can be practically operated over information networks. The scheme ensures the signer privacy which is critical in most political affairs. © 1998 IEEE.
