Abstract
In this paper we study the partial pole assignment problem by output feedback control with feedback design. Since the set of gain matrices solving this partial pole assignment problem is not unique, we want to find the "better" possible set of gain matrices with which the closed-loop pencil is as close to the open-loop pencil as possible or the closed-loop pencil is as insensitive to perturbations as possible.
