Abstract
This article proposes the analog front-end VLSI
architecture for QAM/VSB dual mode transceiver. To
achieve high integration, a low-IF architecture is
proposed. Two key macro circuits of this architecture,
namely, mixer and complex polyphase filter, will be
discussed and the circuit design and simulation results
will be presented.
