Abstract
The ability of wheelie is a required
skill for the negotiation of obstacles
which become fairly common in daily
environment. The purpose of this study
is to analyze the bimanual coordination
of patients with spinal cord injury during
wheelie. The parameters of this study
are motion time, joint angles, wheel
chair angular displacement. The
preliminary results reveal that the
muscle contraction time and the joint
angle changes are familiar in both upper
limbs; it may be indicate that the
patients with spinal cord injury have
well bimanual coordination during
wheelie. The back muscles also
contributed in this task. After wheelie,
the demand of upper limbs was
decreased. Further analysis will be done
after more data collection.
