Abstract
Dubbing is a professional skill that use ""sound"" to performed. Dubbing is wildly used in Taiwan audio and video programs, for example, TV programs, Movies, Cartoons, Commercials. Unfortunately, the specialty in dubbing has always been ignored in Taiwan audio and video industry. Taiwan voice dubber didn''t get much attraction. On the other hand, Japanese Seiyuu is also using ""voice"" to perform. Combined with their Animation Industry, Seiyuu is not only a dubber, but also a singer, and they have lots of Seiyuu goods and merchandise. Seiyuu becomes an idol or star, and this trend can popular to the whole world. Both are using "" voice"" as an inter-medium of performance, why Taiwanese dubber and Japanese Seiyuu are so much difference? This research is trying to using Taiwan dubber''s viewpoint, by depth interview method, discussing current status and difficulties of Taiwan Dubbing industry. And then extend the research range to the difference between Taiwan Dubbing Industry and Japanese Seiyuu Industry by documentary research and more interviews. Also, we can observe the path of Japanese Seiyuu Industry, to see if there are any special parts that are worthy to learn. In final stage, we can find the breakthrough for Taiwan Dubbing Industry to overcome these difficulties.
