Abstract
The effects of chlorine on atmospheric
chemistry in troposphere were explored in
this study. Two parts of approaches are
included in this study. In the first part, a field
experiment was implemented. Species that
affect chlorine and tropospheric chemistry
were sampled and analyzed. The analyzed
data provided necessary information to the
second part of approach, chemical model
calculation to predict the atmospheric
concentration of chlorine atoms. Provided
this information, we explored the influence
of chlorine on the atmospheric chemistry in
the coastal marine boundary layer.
