Abstract
Through the combination of sensors and the improvement of resolution of satellite imagery, the potential of using high-resolution satellite stereo-pairs to produce digital terrain models and ortho-photos is growing rapidly. In order to avoid the restriction of high quality along-track stereo-pairs by satellite imaging corporations and to improve the flexibility of choosing stereo-pairs, this research aims to establish the algorithm for solving 3-D positioning by stereo-pairs which result from different sensors. Depending on the orient information provided by the satellite imaging corporations, the research would like to develop two kinds of models of intersection were developed in this work. One of which is to integrate transformed rigorous sensor model (TRSM) with rational function model (RFM), another is, on the other hand, to fuse transformed rational function model (TRFM) and rigorous sensor model (RSM) for solving 3-D positioning. Based on the theoretic realization and the results of experiment, it showed that the two kinds of method of integrating inhomogeneous geometric models are the same in mathematical essence and are workable towards solving 3-D positioning for inhomogeneous sensors.
