Abstract
本研究係探討台灣的大學護理人力供給情形,工作狀況及動態。研究對象為1952年至 1988年之大學畢業生,以問卷調查法作普查。供收回問卷1098份。所得結果顯示歷年 大學畢業生供3476人。以回函1098份作分析,執照錄取率為99.20%,從事護理工作者 佔70.22%。工作滿意度尚可者佔82.36%。而目前未從事護理工作者,離開工作之原因 依序為工作時間太長(39.14%),進修(35.78%),薪水不合理(32.42%)。未從事護理工 作者當中,有61.16%表示願意再從事護理工作,但工作環境要改善,包括部分工時制 、固定班別及薪資提高等。在工作動態方面,畢業後第一個工作在臨床工作者最多, 佔83.44%,工作時間約1~ 4年。第二個工作則以護理教育居多,佔41.9%。另外大學 畢業護理人力只佔護理人力之5%左右,比例偏低,其對專業之發展影響頗大。至於大 學畢業護理人員之供需是否平衡?則有待再需求方面作進一步的探討。 This study investigates the supply of baccalaureate nurses in Taiwan, their work conditions and changeover rates . The subjects were drawn from baccalaureate graduates from colleges or universities between 1952 and 1988. A questionnaire was employed for the survey and 1098 copies were returned by mail for analysis. The results show that during the period there were a total of 3476 graduates in nursing with a bachelor’s degree, 99.20% of whom passed license examinations and 70.22% of whom were engaged in nursing. 82.36% were satisfied with their work. The reasons of baccalaureate graduates who were not then work in nursing in their descending order were long working times (39.14%), further study (35.74%) , and low pay (32.42%). But 61.16% of those non-working nursing graduates would like to return to nursing work on the following conditions : improved working environment such as part-time system, fixed work schedule , and higher pay. In terms of changeover Rates, 83. 44% got their first job in clinical area and 41.9% chose nursing education for their second job. Overall, baccalaureate nurses accounted for only 5% of the total nursing manpower whose low proportion greatly hampered the development of the nursing profession. However, what is an ideal proportion of baccalaureate nurses in terms of supply and demand? It is recommended that a study on demand should be done in the future.
