Abstract
From August 1991 to July 1996, 100 pediatric patients with dizziness/vertigo visited our vertigo clinic, including 41 boys and 59 girls. Most of them were diagnosed as benign paroxysmal vertigo of childhood (BPVC) (66%), followed by basilar artery migraine (23%). Nineteen cases with BPVC received posturography pre-and 3 months post-treatment. The result showed that there was significant improvement in swaying path and area in posturography during open eyes condition, post-treatment.
